What happens

Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, finds her week disrupted by a series of interruptions. Biology teacher Mr. Boynton keeps trying to tell her something personal but is repeatedly cut short, while the school's basketball star Stretch Snodgrass is smitten with Harriet Conford, the girlfriend of his best friend Walter Denton. Walter is the team manager and Harriet's romance is complicated by the team's trip to the state championships. Miss Brooks is pulled into their troubles as the squad prepares to leave town. Our Miss Brooks was broadcast on CBS Radio on February 27, 1949, starring Eve Arden, with Gale Gordon and Jeff Chandler among the cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
