What happens
Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High, hopes to become head of the English department, and her principal, Mr. Conklin, has suggested she may get the job if she keeps out of trouble. Her landlady's sister Angela is in charge of the household and asks her to sit at home with Minerva, a cat who has been depressed. Miss Brooks agrees, and then finds herself looking after a frog, a dog and a baby. Eve Arden plays Miss Brooks in this episode of Our Miss Brooks, broadcast on CBS Radio on January 17, 1954.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
