What happens
Our Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, learns that a French educator, Jacques Bouvet, is recruiting American teachers for posts in France with double salaries and travel paid. Eager to take the offer, she tries to get time off and a meeting with him, while her landlady Mrs. Davis and her sweetheart Mr. Boynton react to the news. The series is OTRR's Our Miss Brooks, first aired on CBS Radio on March 4, 1951, starring Eve Arden, Gale Gordon, Jeff Chandler and Richard Crenna. Miss Brooks spins a series of improvised explanations and mistaken introductions as Bouvet arrives to interview applicants at her home.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
