What happens
Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, learns that her landlady Mrs. Davis may lose her house after missing a mortgage payment, a situation complicated by the Broadview Realty Company's new manager. Meanwhile, Principal Mr. Conklin wants to acquire neighboring land owned by the miserly Mr. Travis for a larger athletic field. Conklin and Mr. Boynton devise a scheme to pressure Travis into selling by staging an injury to Miss Brooks. This is an episode of the Our Miss Brooks series, originally broadcast on CBS Radio on January 30, 1955, starring Eve Arden and Gale Gordon, with Jeff Chandler and Richard Crenna.
