What happens

Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High, faces Principal Osgood Conklin, who has created a carelessness code that fines students and faculty for petty offenses, with the money going toward a statue of himself for the school library. Miss Brooks is drawn into the students' protest against the fines, while her own money runs short and her lunch plans and date with Mr. Boynton are disrupted by Conklin's rules. Eve Arden stars as Miss Brooks and Gale Gordon plays Mr. Conklin, in the CBS Radio series Our Miss Brooks, first broadcast on February 12, 1956. Richard Crenna and Jeff Chandler are also among the cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
