What happens
Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High summer school, faces a sweltering day and a plot cooked up by her students. Walter Denton and Harriet Conklin persuade her to sabotage the electric fan in the office of their principal, Osgood Conklin, so he will cancel classes. Miss Brooks reluctantly agrees to reason with Mr. Conklin first, and the scheme quickly escalates among the students. The episode is an Our Miss Brooks installment from the CBS Radio run, first broadcast on August 7, 1949, starring Eve Arden, Gale Gordon, Jeff Chandler and Richard Crenna.
