What happens

Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, is eager to advance her career and hopes her principal, Mr. Conklin, will recommend her as head of the English department. Our Miss Brooks, starring Eve Arden, is the single episode in the Our Miss Brooks series, first broadcast on CBS Radio on September 18, 1949. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
