What happens
Connie Brooks, a high school English teacher at Madison High, drives biology teacher Philip Boynton to a football game against Clay City. Connie hopes for time alone with Mr. Boynton, but her car has just come out of a repair shop with a large bill. Along the way, the trip grows crowded and complicated as students and their families join them, and the group becomes lost. Our Miss Brooks, a CBS Radio comedy from 1948, starred Eve Arden, with Gale Gordon, Jeff Chandler and Richard Crenna among the lead actors. The transcript covers only the first part of the episode.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
