What happens

Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, learns that the football coach, Bronco Dawson, has been dismissed by the principal, Mr. Conklin, after a fight with some hoodlums on school grounds. Her students, including Walter Denton and Stretch Snodgrass, are upset and want him reinstated, so Miss Brooks agrees to plead Bronco's case to Mr. Conklin. Her efforts lead to a series of comic misunderstandings involving threatening phone calls and a stuffed laundry bag used as a tackling dummy. Mr. Boynton, the chemistry teacher, is also drawn into the football bustle.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
