What happens
Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, is put in charge of the school's Christmas clothing drive for secondhand clothes. Principal Mr. Conklin, along with her colleagues Walter Denham and Mr. Boynton, donate their old garments, and Miss Brooks agrees to do Christmas shopping for several people using a pooled sum of money. The money is placed in a pocket of Mr. Conklin's suit, which is then taken from the school and delivered to the mission before Miss Brooks realizes what has happened. She and Mr. Boynton drive downtown to recover the suit before the clothes are handed out, and the search sets off a series of mishaps at the mission. This series is from the Our Miss Brooks singles, broadcast on CBS Radio on December 17, 1950, starring Eve Arden.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
