What happens

Nick Carter investigates a haunted rocking chair on Shipwreck Island, which supposedly belonged to a deceased woman with voodoo powers who cursed the Trumbull family generations ago. The chair is said to rock before family members die, and it has recently begun rocking again, frightening the family's housekeeper Maria. Carter travels to the remote estate to uncover what actually causes the chair to move and to investigate a mysterious death connected to the phenomenon.

Shipwreck Island, an old Victorian mansion that is the Trumbull family estate, built three generations ago by sea captain Obadiah Trumbull.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
