What happens

When Smokey Bates, a member of Nick Carter's downtown boys club, is recruited into a burglary ring led by a criminal named Noonan, a janitor discovers the theft in progress. A struggle ensues and the janitor is shot dead. Nick must identify the killer among his 120 club members before the murderer can cover his tracks.
