What happens
When safecracker Nitro Nelson is released from prison after 25 years, a series of safe robberies begins plaguing the city. Nick Carter is called to investigate the first job at a fish company, where the night watchman has been murdered and a safe blown open. As Nick and his old associate Waldo examine the evidence, they discover fingerprints matching Nitro Nelson, suggesting the aging criminal has returned to his trade.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
