What happens
Irma Peterson, a young woman living in a New York apartment with her roommate Jane, finds her Christmas Eve plans falling apart as Jane, the professor, Mrs. O'Reilly and Al all cancel on her. Irma feels alone and far from her family in Minnesota. Her friends decide to turn the evening around by planning a surprise Christmas party for her. This episode of My Friend Irma aired on CBS Radio on December 20, 1948, with Marie Wilson as Irma and Cathy Lewis as Jane.
