What happens
Jane Stacey and her roommate Irma Peterson talk over Irma's dull Saturday dates with her boyfriend Al, who will not dance. Jane encourages Irma to make Al learn the rumba, while Irma is tempted by an old flame, Harvey Connors. Their friend Professor Kropotkin offers his own views on dancing and romance. Richard invites the girls to an evening out with an important client, which puts Al's dancing to the test. The story is light domestic comedy in the My Friend Irma series, which aired on CBS Radio on December 15, 1947. Marie Wilson and Cathy Lewis lead the cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
