What happens
Mel Blanc runs the Fix-It Shop, and his fiancée Betty and his employees Uncle Rupert and Zookie are worried that the business is not efficient enough. Mel hires Herbert Goodhue, an efficiency expert, who introduces a system of speedy, peachy, and blunt rules that quickly drives away customers. Meanwhile, the glamorous dancer Fifi Divine arrives with a zipper she needs repaired for her show that night. This is an episode of The Mel Blanc Show, first broadcast on September 10, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
