What happens
Ken Thurston, the man called X, and his associate Pagan Zellsmitt travel to the East Indies after a mysterious phone call warns Pagan about a secret agent known as the fish peddler. Thurston books passage on the freighter Captain Jan Janssen commands, where a passenger named Joe, a pianist, and several others are aboard. Joanna, the captain's daughter, is attacked in Thurston's cabin, and shots are fired on the darkened ship. The crew is locked below decks while the passengers try to make sense of who among them is dangerous. Dr. Singh, a zoologist with a collection of reptiles, is also on board.

Listen for: The phone call from the unseen fish peddler early on, and the moment Joe is first revealed under pressure in the lounge.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
