What happens

Mrs. Bloom waits up late at night for her daughters, who have not yet come home from a party. Her husband Jake tries to reassure her, but she grows increasingly anxious, imagining accidents and danger on the streets. The family argues about the girls' outing and the old-fashioned customs of courtship. Mrs. Bloom's worry is reflected in her phone calls and her memories of her own youth, including a kissing game she once played. The episode is part of the Mama Bloom's Brood series, and this guide covers only the early portion of the story.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
