What happens
Captain Bradford, Mrs. Gregory, Jerry and Joan are aboard the stolen Euclidean submarine as it races across the Pacific toward Los Angeles Harbor. A Euclidean plane shadows them from above, hidden in an artificial cloud, and the crew debates how to approach the shore without being noticed. Joan, who alone understands the submarine, plans an airlock landing from a submerged position. The submarine then begins losing speed as an unseen magnetic force holds its course. The crew realizes another Euclidean submarine has been following them, close behind, and they face the danger of stopping at the harbor.
