What happens
Jerry and Joan, while touring the magic island of Euclidea, descend in a magnetic elevator to see the submarine locks on the fifth level below the surface. The elevator door fails to open, and they are trapped with rising water outside the shaft and the air in the car growing foul. Jerry and Joan struggle together to find and use an oxygen valve in the dark car. Once the water drains and the lights return, they try to climb back to the surface. On arriving, they find the yacht deserted, and Joan's mother and Captain Bradford are missing.
