What happens
Captain Tex Bradford, Mrs. Patricia Gregory and young Jerry Hall watch a mysterious island hidden in a bank of fog in the South Seas from their yacht at anchor. Using a long-range viewing device, they glimpse a group of people on the island and believe they may see a young girl among them, which gives Mrs. Gregory hope that her long-lost daughter Joan could be there after fourteen years. The island's inhabitants appear to notice them and then cover the island with an artificial roof of fog. Their yacht's radio and lights then fail, and the anchored boat begins to drag despite calm conditions. This episode of Magic Island is a radio drama, and the transcript covers only its opening portion.
