What happens
Jerry Hall, Mrs. Gregory, and Captain Bradford sail the Gregory yacht through a ring of unnatural fog toward a mysterious island in the South Pacific, searching for Mrs. Gregory's daughter, who was lost at sea as a baby. Drawn in by an unseen magnetic force, the yacht is pulled silently against a smooth, shining landing on the island. The three step ashore into a strange yellow glow, where their footsteps make no sound and the light seems to surround them. Mysterious glasses appear in their hands, and as they put them on, they begin to see their surroundings more clearly and sense that they are being watched.
