What happens
In 1920s Boston, Hannah Adams, a young woman from a proper family, becomes smitten with Tim O'Connor, a song-and-dance man performing in a musical show. Their courtship is complicated by class differences, as Hannah's relatives look down on his working-class background. Tim and Hannah's relationship develops through a series of awkward encounters and romantic misunderstandings. The episode is part of the Lux Radio Theatre series, first broadcast on February 23, 1953, and features Gene Crane as Hannah and Dan Dailey as Tim.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
