What happens
Three Army fliers, Bob Collins, Shakespeare and Andrew Anders, are sent home from the war to tour the country selling war bonds for the Treasury Department. At the airfield they meet Ivy Hotchkiss, who has come to run the tour in place of the ailing Mr. Hotchkiss. Bob, the flier who has the most medals, is quick to make a show of his charm, and Ivy is not impressed. Hosted by a Boston club, the tour's first stop brings more parties and romantic chatter as the men try to win over the women. Lux Radio Theatre presents this 1946 production of You Came Along, starring Van Johnson, Elizabeth Scott and Dean Jagger.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
