What happens

Lieutenant Cal Calhoun, a detective at Union Station, investigates a kidnapping after a young woman, Joyce Willecombe, reports seeing armed men board a train. Her employer's blind daughter, Lana Murchison, is missing, and the search moves through the station's crowds, parcel lockers and a subway chase. Calhoun and his men set a trap at the information booth to catch the kidnappers as they make contact with the girl's father. The episode is a 1952 Lux Radio Theatre broadcast, starring William Holden, Nancy Olsen and Lyle Bettger, adapted from the Paramount film of the same name.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
