What happens
Harriet Boyd, a talented designer, and her partners Sam Cowan and Teddy Sherman try to launch their own dress business in New York's garment district. Their plans depend on raising money, and Harriet must decide whether to take a loan from her family or from a wealthy buyer, J.F. Noble. Working relationships and personal feelings strain as the partners argue over design credit, finances and their futures. This is an episode of the Lux Radio Theatre series, broadcast on March 31, 1952, with Susan Hayward and Dan Duryea in the lead roles. The transcript covers only the first part of the broadcast, so the story is not fully told here.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
