What happens
Ken, a boy in Wyoming, raises a white colt named Goblin, a grandson of the legendary albino stallion, while his father Rob hopes the horse will someday win races. Goblin proves wild and hard to handle, and Ken's patience and understanding are tested as the colt grows. The Lux Radio Theatre dramatization of Thunderhead, Son of Flicka, a sequel to the earlier play, is broadcast from 20th Century Fox studios in Hollywood on February 25, 1946, starring Roddy McDowall, Preston Foster and Rita Johnson. Their rivalry with the spirited horse and the mysterious albino stallion of the hills drive the story forward.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
