What happens

Nicole, a young woman new to New York and short of money, poses as a glamour model to win the favor of Bill Duncan, a wealthy man staying in her hotel. Her scheme is set up with the help of Mike, a restaurant owner who hopes to profit from it. Jim Trevor, a friend of Bill's, grows suspicious of her and begins to test her story. The Lux Radio Theatre production stars Tyrone Power and Annabella, and this part of the play covers the early stages of the plot, when Nicole first meets Bill and Jim confronts her.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
