What happens
Wild Bill Hickock, a former soldier heading west after the Civil War, meets his old friend Buffalo Bill Cody on a riverboat bound for Leavenworth. This episode of the Lux Radio Theatre, aired on May 31, 1937, stars Frederick March and Gene Arthur, with Porter Hall, Joan Fontaine and Paul Harvey. Bill and Calamity are taken prisoner by Yellowhand's warriors, and the story turns on Bill's dealings with the chief.
