What happens
Samson, a leader of the Danites, rebels against the Philistines who hold his people in bondage. Against his mother's wishes he seeks to marry Semadar, a Philistine woman of Timnath, and he later wins a lion-killing contest before the Saran. Samson's riddle at a wedding feast sparks a violent quarrel, and the Lux Radio Theatre production, first broadcast on 1951-11-19, stars Victor Mature and Hedy Lamarr. Samson and Delilah is an adaptation of the Cecil B. DeMille film.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
