What happens
On the Goose Bar ranch, young Ken struggles with schoolwork and his father Rob's constant disapproval, while dreaming of owning a horse that will be truly his own. This Lux Radio Theatre production, broadcast on June 7, 1943, stars Roddy McDowell as Ken, George Brent as Rob and Rita Johnson as Nell. Rob promises Ken a colt to train, and Ken chooses a wild filly from the albino line of horses that his father considers worthless. Ken is determined to tame her, and the hour ends with the filly still resisting every attempt to bring her under control.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
