What happens

Marshal Wyatt Earp arrives in Tombstone, Arizona, after his younger brother James is shot and his cattle stolen by unknown rustlers. Earp takes the town's marshal job and sets out to find the killers, while his brothers Virgil and Morgan support him. His investigation draws him into contact with the gambler Doc Holliday, who runs a tavern and quotes Shakespeare. Earp also keeps a watch on the Clanton family, whose cattle are moving through the range. This Lux Radio Theatre production, broadcast on April 28, 1947, stars Henry Fonda, Richard Conte, and Cathy Downs. The story is adapted from the 20th Century Fox film My Darling Clementine.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
