What happens
Sarah Moonlight, a young Englishwoman, receives a necklace called the Dreeard on her wedding eve in 1881, and makes a wish that she may never grow older. The story follows Sarah and her husband Tom Moonlight through the years, as Sarah's youthful appearance begins to trouble her and those around her. Tom's cousin Edith, who has long loved him, watches the household, and the couple's daughter Jane grows toward marriage with her own suitor. Janet Gaynor and George Brent star in this Lux Radio Theatre adaptation of the Broadway play, broadcast on June 26, 1939.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
