What happens

Professor Nichols, who once ran an American school near Berlin, searches for his former pupil Anna Miller after she is sent to a German labor camp. Years earlier, Anna had been a classmate of Carl Brunner, a German boy who grew up devoted to the Nazi cause. The episode is an adaptation of the 1943 RKO film Hitler's Children, and this Lux Radio Theatre broadcast aired on May 24, 1943. Bonita Granville, Otto Kruger, Kent Smith and Walter Reed star. As Nichols tries to learn her fate, he is forced to confront the Nazi system and the changing loyalties of the young people he once taught.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
