What happens
Van Dorn, a mountain man living on High Tor above the Hudson River, refuses to sell his land to Biggs and Skimmerhorn, who want to strip the trap rock from it. Judy, who loves him but wants him to join ordinary life, is caught between him and the pressure of the developers. Two thieves carrying stolen money climb the mountain, and their paths cross with the mountain's inhabitants. The Lux Radio Theatre production of High Tor aired on June 1, 1953.
