What happens

Congresswoman Agatha Reed accepts an invitation to receive an honorary degree from Good Hope College, the Massachusetts school she attended long ago. She is greeted warmly, but Dr. James Merrill, the college president, is uneasy because the trustees do not know she was once expelled. Agatha reunites with Jim, who was once her sweetheart, and their old feelings resurface. Meanwhile, a war photographer named Matt Cole arrives on assignment from Real Magazine, adding to the tension.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
