What happens
Gregory Anton and his young wife Paula move into a house on Thornton Square in London, a house left to Paula by a woman named Alice Alquist, who was murdered there years earlier. Paula has been raised to believe she is Alice's niece, and the couple settle in with their servants, Elizabeth Morgan and Nancy Frost. Gregory seems to treat Paula with great affection, yet small things begin to go missing in the house, and Paula grows uneasy about her own memory. Meanwhile, a young police officer named Cameron has become interested in the old murder and in the new residents. This is Lux Radio Theatre's 1946 broadcast of Gaslight, dated April 29, 1946, starring Ingrid Bergman and Charles Boyer.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
