What happens
Bill, a well-dressed drifter, meets Trina, a hungry young woman, on a bench in Central Park in New York and takes her to dinner at the Ritz roof. Later he brings her to his shack at the city dump, where a group of ragged friends live. Spencer Tracy and Loretta Young star in this Lux Radio Theatre adaptation of A Man's Castle, first broadcast on March 27, 1939. Trina begins to make a home for herself with Bill, though his restless, independent nature keeps him from settling down. Their relationship is shaped by money, work and the shabby surroundings they share.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
