What happens

Lum and Abner Show as a Pine Ridge comedy from 1941. Lum and Cedric gossip at the Johnstown store, where Abner is hiding from Charlie Dilbeck after a mix-up over a dummy in women's clothes that led Elizabeth to believe Abner was carrying on with another woman. Lum and Cedric debate whether Abner should stand up to his wife, and talk turns to the rabbit-raising business they plan to start. Their friend Charlie Smith, a stranger in false whiskers, comes into the store, and the two men tease him while he strolls about and talks loosely about the town. The story is not concluded in this part of the episode.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
