What happens
Lum and Abner run the Pine Ridge bakery from the general store, and business is booming thanks to the new red and yellow delivery truck. Lum has hidden a locket inside a loaf of bread as a birthday gift for Miss Fredericks, and the loaves are being delivered around town. Abner and Grandpa Spears fret over the mix-up while Cedric drives the truck on the morning route. The episode is part of the long-running Lum and Abner series, first broadcast on December 12, 1941, with Chester Lauck, Norris Goff and Lurene Tuttle in the lead roles.
