What happens

Cedric pitches a tent in front of the Jot 'Em Down store in Pine Ridge, to the annoyance of Lum and Abner, who cannot remove him because they once sold him a strip of the ground. Cedric hopes living there will win him one of the proposed Wonderful World apartments. Meanwhile Lum and Abner are reviewing Mousey Brown's floor plans for the new Farkman building. They argue over where the dining room and sitting room should go, and Abner suggests the store be built on the elevator. Lum and Abner are the lead characters of this long-running radio comedy. The episode first aired on April 24, 1942, with Chester Lauck, Norris Goff and Lurene Tuttle in the leading roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
