What happens

Luigi Bosco, a recent immigrant from Italy, runs an antique shop that is failing, and his landlord Pasquale pressures him over unpaid rent. Pasquale tries to sell him on the idea of finding a job, and Luigi is told he must learn salesmanship. Life with Luigi is a comedy series that follows his efforts to succeed in America. In this episode, Luigi writes to his mother about his struggles, attends a night school economics class, and is pushed toward selling vacuum cleaners. He sets out to prove he can be a salesman, with Pasquale and his friends offering advice along the way.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
