What happens
Luigi Basso, a grocer, grows unhappy that his neighbors now treat shopping as a quick transaction and no longer talk or argue with him as they once did. He decides to hold a block party to bring the neighborhood together again. Luigi, played by Alan Reed, recruits customers and friends, and his plans begin to draw attention and complications from the local community. Life with Luigi is a comedy series created by Cy Howard and starring J. Carrol Naish, first broadcast on September 11, 1951.

Listen for: Luigi's efforts to organize the block party and the reactions of his neighbors to it.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
