Luigi Basko, a newcomer to America, attends night school and is delighted with his teacher, Miss Spalding, who is a kind and beautiful woman. When the class learns she will be moving up to teach the third grade while they must repeat the second, the students scheme to deliberately fail their final examination so they can stay together with her. Luigi, Pasquale and their classmates plan a mock stupid strike in front of the principal. Life with Luigi was a comedy series starring J. Carol Nash, with Alan Reed, first broadcast on January 31, 1950.

A night school in America, the school's classroom and the principal's office, and Luigi's spaghetti palace.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
