What happens
Chester A. Riley finds his household burdened when his sister Cecilia arrives after being jilted by her fiancé, who joined the Navy the day before the wedding. Riley and his wife Peg, along with the rest of the family, try to help Cecilia move on, but she grows despondent and insists she needs a job to pay her way. Riley's son-in-law Gillis, the family's neighbour, is drawn into the worry, and Riley begins to suspect that Cecilia has taken a drastic step. The series, heard on the Blue Network and NBC in December 1948, stars William Bendix as Riley.
