What happens
Chester A. Riley refuses his 13-year-old son Junior a key to the family's front door, saying the boy is too careless to keep one. Junior has a duplicate key made anyway, and Riley warns of terrible consequences. When a burglar enters the house in the night, Riley, his wife Peggy, and neighbor Waldo Benny gather everyone's keys in the kitchen to find out who let the intruder in. The episode is part of the radio series The Life of Riley, first broadcast on October 13, 1945, on the Blue Network and ABC and NBC, with William Bendix as Riley and Paula Winslowe as Peggy.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
