What happens

Private investigator George Valentine arrives at Valley Sunset Winery in California after receiving a mysterious letter from fourteen-year-old Rachel Agagenic, who fears her uncle Joseph and brother Demetro may kill each other. George discovers the family is torn by secrets: Joseph has taken the blame for a hit-and-run accident involving a man named Sudsy and paid $20,000 to a racketeer named Ty Wendell for blackmail. When Wendell is murdered that afternoon, suspicion falls on young Silvio, whose letter confessing to theft was meant to control his movements.
