What happens
George Valentine receives a letter from Mrs. Ponsonby, an upset newcomer to Oakview County, asking for his help investigating her mysterious neighbors at the Barker estate. She claims they've nearly caused her death by tearing up a road and behaving strangely. When George and his partner visit the property, they discover the truth behind the family's seclusion: Emmy Lunsford, now living there with Frederick, was once in love with Frederick when he was married to her best friend Francis, and she's now reclaimed both the house and the man after Francis's death.
The Barker estate in Oakview County, a secluded honeymoon cottage surrounded by high walls and fences.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
