What happens

George Valentine is called to a remote motel on the Mexican border by Bernice Hillary, a young woman from Minnesota who has stumbled into a dangerous situation. She discovers two dead bodies in an adjacent cabin—a woman named Helga who has been illegally trying to enter the country, and a sickly American man who knew her. Now George must uncover the truth behind what appears to be a murder disguised as a suicide.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
