What happens

George Valentine agrees to care for a dog named Snookums for a couple of days while the owner, Mr. Ralston, needs it out of his house. George soon discovers that Snookums is actually a large, valuable dog stolen from society matron Madam Charlotte Cornwall Smith, who entered him in a dog show. George must figure out how to return the dog to its rightful owner without alerting the police.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
